Our audacious goal is to raise at least $1 for every child on the spectrum (there are 2 million in America alone), starting with $2 million in 2014.
We invite all our brothers and sisters worldwide to “join together and help sing the song”, as the song says! Please download “Not So Different” and share it with friends. You’ll be helping create and sustain much-needed programs like educational, after-school, and early intervention programs; services like therapy, family counseling, and learning assistance; and ongoing research in the Autism field.
Sales of the downloads benefit Autism organizations, and will benefit programs as well. Already, “Not So Different” has contributed to many organizations worldwide, including Autism Speaks, Music for Autism, Fact Family- and the list continues to grow as schools, programs, and organizations from the UK to Canada, LA to Florida, and beyond use the song in plays, animated videos, Walks, choral groups, and at their own benefit events.
And that’s what we are all about! Creating community, inspiring unity and strength, and most of all, accepting each other for who we are without judging or changing- just loving each other exactly as we are. We ALL have challenges. But in the end, we want the same things: to love and be loved, to feel safe, to be accepted for who we are, to do some good in the world that makes us feel good.
